Last month, pioneering Hip-Hop documentarian Martha Cooper debuted her newest publication Name Tagging at the OBEY Pop-Up Shop. Covering the prevalent notion of tagging with stickers once used primarily in the corporate environment, we took the opportunity to visit with Martha Cooper regarding her book, her contributions to graffiti and Hip-Hop and the importance of her getting involved early on as a photographer and the difficulty current photographers face.

This past January Roger Steffens gave us a full guided tour of all six rooms of his Reggae Archives. Comprised of collections within collections the 'Ark-Hives' represents a lifetime dedicated to Reggae music. Involved since the earliest days of Reggae music's debut on the international scene Roger has not only been a collector but a participant and key player in the development and spread of the music and culture.

Blu foi convidado para Los Angeles para uma pintura de mural enorme, em 24 horas, o trabalho foi apagado. É a censura tempos modernos..."Moca asks me to paint a mural, I go to LA to paint the piece and I almost finish it, the Moca director decides to erase the wall, on the next day the mural is erased by Moca workers, journalists are still not sure if this can be called censorship So that they start asking my opinion about." As a pianist I have collaborated with Robert since 1997 - we are long time friends/colleagues. His talent is immeasurable. In 1999 he won the Gold Medal in the American Traditions Competition, in Savannah, Georgia. He also made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2005, and returned to Carnegie Hall in 2009 as a guest of Jessye Norman, as part of her HONOR! festival. I was fortunate to play the piano for him on his second appearance, and this was my Carnegie Hall debut. We're performing together in Gibraltar this month (Dec. 20)!
His new partnership with the GGQ is nothing less than extraordinary. Their arrangements are completely original: with Southern twang and classical arch! Their artistry is of the highest calibre.

During the month of August, I have filmed a music video for a couple of friends for their band, which is called NMR.
Their style has been changing for quite some time. I personally listened to hardcore bands before, but not in recent couple of years. Despite the fact that I have not been listening to hardcore for some time, the music itself, the ideals and morals of the genre have impacted me as to how I perceive the world today.
It is always great to see a friendly bunch of people who enjoy creating music and having fun at the same time.
This is my first music video that I have done and I hope you will enjoy it.

Energetic, fast, in your face hardcore with a positive message from Tallinn, Estonia with crazy live shows.

Skateistan: To Live And Skate Kabul is a beautifully shot film that
follows the lives of a group of young skateboarders in Afghanistan. Operating against the backdrop of war and bleak prospects, the Skateistan charity project is the world’s first co-educational skateboarding school, where a team of international volunteers work with girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 17, an age group largely untouched by other aid programmes.
